Geocaching for groups

Experience a great day of group geocaching with SeaSport. We organize both ready-made and customized geocaching trips in the archipelago for groups and companies.
There are many geocaches in the archipelago that require a boat to find them. With us, you can go
geocaching in great landscapes safely and effortlessly.
​
We have put together two ready-made geocaching routes. The eastern route takes you to the wonderful
islands on the eastern side of Porvoo, such as Norra Sandön, known for its sandy beaches, and Stora Brockholmen. The western route includes, among other things, the always wonderful Äggskär and the former lighthouse island Glosholm, which inspired the Moomin house.

If you want to book an excursion only for your own group (min. 6 people), or you wish for a different route, please get in touch. Excursions can also be made on request at other times than those mentioned in the calendar!
Geocaching for individuals

To make the archipelago's geocaches accessible to individual seekers as well, we organize a "geocache
water bus" at set times.
​
You can book a place on the boat for our pre-arranged geocaching trips from the calendar below. The trip will take place if at least six people sign up for the same trip.
What is geocaching?
Geocaching is an outdoor hobby where you look for and hide boxes called geocaches. That is, modern
treasure hunting and puzzle solving, also works excellently as a team activity. Caches are searched for using a phone app and GPS satellite positioning.
SeaSport's customers are not separately insured, so we recommend our customers to keep their own travel and leisure insurance valid.
Varaathan oman paikkasi alla olevalla kaavakkeella. Paikat jaetaan ilmoittautumisjärjestyksessä, suosituimmat retket myydään loppuun jo talvella.
Maksu suoritetaan etukäteen säätilanteen varmistuttua Mobilepaylla numeroon 38627. Korttimaksusta on sovittava erikseen.
Ilmoittautuminen on sitova kaksi viikkoa ennen retken ajankohtaa.
Saaristossa liikkuminen on sääriippuvaista. Jos tuuli on yli 12 m/s, ukkostaa tai on sumua, retki perutaan turvallisuussyistä.
Pukeuduthan säähän sopivasti: vesillä on aina viileämpää ja ajamme myös sateella.

Mikä ihmeen geocaching?
Geocaching eli geokätköily on ulkoiluharrastus, jossa etsitään ja piilotetaan geokätköiksi kutsuttuja rasioita. Siis modernia aarteenetsintää ja pulmanratkaisua, toimii erinomaisesti myös tiimiaktiviteettina. Kätköjä etsitään puhelinappin ja GPS-satelliittipaikannuksen avulla.
SeaSportin asiakkaita ei ole erikseen vakuutettu, joten suosittelemme asiakkaillemme pitämään voimassa oman matka- ja vapaa-ajanvakuutuksen.
